Writing Content That Works
TweetIt doesn't matter how many people end up visiting your site if you don't engage the visitors with killer content. The old adage "Content is King" applies today more than ever. Search around for the most popular blogs or sites in your niche. You won't find any of these sites producing low quality content, and if they do then let me know about it so I can hop right in and take advantage. But, what exactly goes into killer content? Let's take a look.
1. Develop Goals - What do you want to communicate? Once you decide what you want useful information you want to provide to your readers, you should do it in an engaging way. You also want to say what you are trying to say in the simplest possible terms.
2. Appearance - Don't use long paragraphs, in fact, keep them to around 100 words if possible. Use headers and bullet lists if applicable.
3. Update Often - You will want to set a schedule for your post releases. I recommend doing it at least once per week, but some my sites have at least 10 new pieces of content released each day. Whatever you decide that you can handle or that you can afford to hire a team to handle, stick to it.
