Create Your Own Product
One way that you can make a lot of money online is by selling your own products. Do you have a particular skill set or are you knowledgeable in a certain niche? If so then you might want to think about creating your own information product. These days you can do more than just write an ebook (electronic book), but you can also create an audio or video series as well. Most of the time these richer media formats are available as an upsell. Just keep in mind selling a product that you create yourself isn't quite as easy as affiliate marketing because you have to actually take the time to create something of value.
Price
The price that you sell your information product for is going to depend on your niche and just how much information you are giving to your buyer. If you have a 10 page report, don't expect to get more than $20 out of it. If you stretch out your ebook to 200 pages, then you can start to charge higher prices. I've seen people who sell hours of training videos for $2,000. These guys make a LOT of money without having to sell a high volume. One thing that you have to consider is the amount of time that it is going to take you to create your product and how many subscribers you have. Don't waste weeks of your life building up a video series that nobody is going to ever hear of. That also brings us to our next important point.
Affiliates
Make sure that you set up an affiliate program for your product and give away a healthy percentage of sales to your affiliates. I've seen successful markets give away 100% of the profits from their ebook to affiliates just so they can upsell the lead down the line. You have to at least give 50%-70% if you want to attract the real producers. This will help you build up your list so you can push additional offers to the subscribers at a later date. If your product is of a high quality, you will have built up a tremendous amount of trust with your list.
